African Diversity Arts has been a dealer of fine antique and contemporary African art since, 2005. It was founded by an artisans from the Bamoun Kingdom of North West Cameroon. As with many  Bamoun children, this Cameroonian was taught a familial craft, in the form of beading techniques that has been passed down for generations. He  combined these skills and his love of culture into a trading business with artisans in neighboring regions. The relationships fostered from this and historical ties to the palace and chieftaincies has positioned African Diversity Arts to source high quality contemporary and antique pieces directly from local artisans and chiefs.

​Today, African Diversity Arts is a global one stop shop for all things African Art and Curios, stocked with items created by African Diversity Arts or sourced directly from artisans and chiefs from small villages across the continent of Africa. This unique relationship allows consumers and wholesalers to purchase high quality pieces directly from artisans and communities without questionable fair trade practices because African Diversity Arts is the artisan community. We even assist with arranging visits for wholesalers who want to visit artisan communities directly.
